Ole Town BBQ – Raleigh, NC

A few weeks ago, me and my friends drove 30-ish minutes in the North Carolina suburbs through a thunderstorm (that, admittedly, we knew was about to happen) to eat at one of the greatest BBQ spots ↗ in the Raleigh area according to Google Maps reviews

We had a few scares parking in front of the trailer-esque restaurant in the middle of a highway. We attracted some stares when we ran through the door trying to avoid the rain

The whole place was a southern fever dream and stacked with pork-themed decorations, but this poster in a table next to mine kept calling me. At the time I had no clue what I wanted to do with it, other than loving the little devil

I guess I'm still not sure what I wanted to do considering I don't quite have one finished version, but two or three different colorways of the same idea. I've been indecisive a few times throughout this project, but this week was extra hard
